.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
High pressure will build over the Mid-Atlantic today keeping winds
weak across our waters. Winds turn from a N`rly direction today to
a SE`rly direction this afternoon and then a SW`rly direction
tonight as high pressure pushes offshore. A couple of weak fronts
will impact area waters Tuesday night through Thursday bringing
wind shifts to our waters with S`rly winds out ahead of the fronts
and N`rly winds behind the fronts. The next significant chance of
elevated winds comes this weekend when a series of fronts cross
the area.
