Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC

.DISCUSSION....

...Gusty Winds and Low Relative Humidities Thursday and Friday...

Cold, dry and breezy conditions develop Thursday and Friday as
Arctic high pressure builds in behind the front, which may bring
fire weather concerns across much of the region. High pressure
builds overhead Saturday with continued dry but less windy
conditions. The high slides offshore early next week with
southerly return flow bringing improved RH and a chance of showers
ahead of the next frontal system.
