Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
314 PM EST Mon Dec 1 2025

.DISCUSSION....
Cool and dry high pressure briefly returns through early tonight
ahead of a coastal low that will track along the coast Tuesday,
brining beneficial rainfall to ENC. High pressure builds back into
the area Wednesday and Thursday before another coastal system brings
additional chances for rain late this week into the early weekend.

With multiple chances of rain and min RH`s forecast to remain at or
above 45-50%, fire weather concerns are forecast to be LOW this week.
