Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
312 PM EST Thu Nov 20 2025

.DISCUSSION....
A frontal system will bring chances of rain to ENC Friday and
Saturday, with cooler and drier high pressure building back in
Sunday into Monday. Another system will then bring another chance
of rain mid-week.

High afternoon relative humidity values will limit any fire weather
concerns over the next couple of days. Drier conditions will return
late this weekend, but nearby high pressure is expected to keep winds
lighter.
