National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
201 AM EDT Thu Jun 19 2025

.DISCUSSION....
High pressure builds in through today with oppressive heat
and humidity. Today`s seabreeze, along with a cold front set
to move across the CWA late Thursday night, will support strong to
severe thunderstorms across ENC, with the greatest chances overnight.
High pressure ridge builds back in late weekend through early next
week with mainly dry conditions but dangerous heat and humidity.
