.DISCUSSION...
Elevated relative humidities and light winds should help to limit
fire concerns over the next few days. While a few showers may impact
coastal counties, a more appreciable risk of widespread wetting
rainfall comes with a cold front on Friday. A thunderstorm risk is
expected with that front as well. An average of 0.25"-0.75" of rain
is forecast Friday. Higher amounts will be possible where
thunderstorms occur. Right now, the highest rainfall totals are
expected to be focused north of HWY 70.
