Storm survey team found evidence of an EF1
tornado with estimated peak winds of 110 mph
and an estimated width of 50 yards. The
tornado likely first touched down in the
marshland area north of Old Folkstone Road,
then traveled southeast causing notable
damage to multiple homes, an apartment
complex, and an RV park. The tornado then
moved through a forested area south of Old
Folkstone Road before lifting near NC 210.

Storm survey team found evidence of an EF0
tornado with estimated peak winds of 85 mph.
The tornado touched down near the Mill Creek
neighborhood, then crossed NC 210 before
causing notable damage to a home. The
tornado then caused minor damage around a
commercial property before lifting. The
tornado was estimated to be on the ground
for 0.2 miles, with an estimated width of 50
yards.
