            Dare County 911 center relayed a report of
            several inches of water on NC 12 near Pea
            Island Wildlife Refuge.

            Delayed report. Water was reported to be up
            to the headlights of some vehicles traveling
            along NC 12. The deepest water was reported
            near the Waves Deli and in the area around
            ramps 23 and 25.

            Delayed report. NC DOT reported deep
            standing water from heavy rain that fell
            overnight from Oregon Inlet into the
            Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo areas. The DOT
            encouraged drivers with low clearance to
            reconsider travel.
