Waters from Currituck Beach Light to Oregon Inlet NC from 20 to 40
nm...

At 1119 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 nm northeast of Duck to Ar130 to near The Center Of
Croatan Sound, moving east at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Ar140, Ar130, Oregon Inlet,
The Center Of Roanoke Sound, The Center Of Croatan Sound, and Ar145.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
