...Several Hours of Gale Force Winds Over the Waters...

Strong southwesterly winds over the Gulf Stream have developed
this morning, with gusts of 35 to 40 knots over the outer coastal
waters. Places that will experience these strong winds are the
waters between Cape Hatteras and Surf City out to 20 nautical
miles.
