  Waters from Ocracoke Inlet to Cape Lookout NC from 20 to 40 nm...

* Until 600 AM EDT.

* At 503 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Hatteras Village to near Ar225 to 7 nm south of
  Ar230 to 8 nm southeast of Ar250 to 14 nm south of Ar255, moving
  east at 50 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Marine observation. At 424 AM EDT, these thunderstorms
           produced a 40 knot wind gust near Atlantic.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Diamond Shoals and Monitor Marine Sanctuary.
