* Until 600 AM EDT.

* At 423 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 9 nm southeast of Swanquarter to near Ocracoke to
  near Drum Inlet to 6 nm northeast of Ar285, moving east at 30
  knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Marine observations. At 419 AM, a 37 knot wind gust was
           reported near Atlantic.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.
