...PATCHY BLACK ICE POSSIBLE INTO TUESDAY MORNING...

Behind a departing frontal boundary leftover moisture from earlier
rain and snow is forecast to remain on roadways and bridges
tonight. With temperatures falling well below freezing after
midnight, patchy black ice is forecast to develop especially
across bridges and overpasses Tuesday morning. Temperatures
finally rise above freezing around 9AM on Tuesday thus ending any
threat for black ice.

Thin sheets of ice, called black ice, may be difficult to see,
especially during the pre-dawn hours. They may appear to be wet
spots on the road. Motorists will have a difficult time
determining which spots are just wet and which are icy. Motorists
are advised to use extra caution.
