...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PAMLICO COUNTY
THROUGH 615 PM EDT...

At 542 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm capable of
producing a waterspout over the Neuse River near Janeiro, or 10
miles northeast of Havelock, moving west at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs
         and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Janeiro, Minnesott Beach Ferry, Arapahoe, and Minnesott Beach.
