SOUTHEASTERN DUPLIN AND WEST CENTRAL CARTERET COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM
EDT...

At 327 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Kellum to near Maple Hill. Movement was
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, North Topsail Beach, New River Station, Pumpkin Center,
Piney Green, Half Moon, Camp Lejeune Center, Stella, Swansboro,
Hubert, Cape Carteret, Richlands, Catherine Lake, Folkstone,
Silverdale, Kellum, Cypress Creek, Midway Park, Verona, and Dixon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
