  Central Craven County in eastern North Carolina...
  South central Beaufort County in eastern North Carolina...
  Southwestern Pamlico County in eastern North Carolina...

* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 441 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Grantsboro,
  or 11 miles northeast of James City, moving south at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Grantsboro around 450 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include
Stonewall, Alliance, Bridgeton, Minnesott Beach, Bayboro, and
Arapahoe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
