.DISCUSSION...

A band of light snow is currently passing through portions of
southern and central WI (early this morning), amounting to roughly
a dusting in some areas, while failing to reach the ground in
other areas due to dry air at low levels. Chances for flurries
linger through mid morning.

Dry weather is expected this afternoon through Friday, with high
temperatures gradually increasing each day, trending well above
seasonal norms late this week. Daily minimum RH steady in the 40s
to low 50s percentile each day, perhaps some pockets of upper 30s
percentile towards central WI on Wednesday.

For winds and mixing heights, we`re expecting gusty
southwesterlies today and 2 to 3.5 thousand foot max mixing
heights (relatively shallow). Slightly deeper mixing (2.5 to 4
thousand feet max) Wednesday with gusty west winds as high temps
reach the 50 degree mark. Shallow mixing and slow west winds for
Thursday as a ridge of surface high pressure passes overhead, with
high temps climbing into the low 50s.
