.DISCUSSION...
Fall-like temperatures continue through this weekend across
southern Wisconsin. Isolated showers are possible this afternoon
and evening as a weak disturbance passes overhead, particularly
along and west of Interstate 41. A rumble of thunder could mix in
with the showers to the west of Madison. Rainfall totals will be
light, with accumulations below a tenth of an inch anticipated in
the majority of any of showers. Precipitation-free conditions
prevail Saturday into early next week with high pressure lingering
over Lower Michigan. A strong cold front will cross the region at
some point Wednesday or Wednesday night, bringing the next
widespread chances for showers and thunderstorms to the region.
