.DISCUSSION...
A line of rain and thunderstorms are moving through southern Wisconsin
this morning. This line of thunderstorms are expected to clear to the
east by mid morning. Dry conditions with gusty southwest winds are
expected this afternoon across southern Wisconsin as a front moves
northward through the area. Gusts up to 35 mph will be possible. Warm
temperatures into the low to mid 70s are expected. Minimum relative
humidity values should drop into the 40 to 50 percent range, with the
potential for drops to 35 percent possible if temperatures rise a little
warmer than forecast. Tonight into Saturday morning additional chances
for showers and thunderstorms are possible as the front stalls across the
area.
Gusty southwest winds Saturday morning will shift to the northeast as this
frontal boundary shifts south of the area. Temperatures will drop from the
60s to the 40s behind the front. Minimum relative humidity values will
remain high Saturday.
Sunday bring even more chances for rain and snow. During the morning and
afternoon, largely rain and small chance for thunderstorms. Heading into
Sunday night and early Monday morning there will be a potential for the
rain to change over to snow. Little to no additional accumulations are
expected.
