.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather prevails this morning, then scattered thunderstorms
develop across the region this afternoon into this evening. Inland
daytime high temperatures in the low 80s expected today, with
south winds gusting up to 25 mph this afternoon. Rising dewpoints
(up to 70 degrees today) and incoming showers / storms are
expected keep minimum RH values 50% or higher. Additional showers
/ storms expected overnight as a cold front passes.

For Wednesday, showers / storms clear out from west to east early
in the morning. Clouds decrease, leaving mostly clear skies by mid
day. Daytime highs in the upper 70s expected for all areas, with
west winds gusting to 25 mph and a minimum RH of 35 to 55
percent. There is a chance (roughly 25%) for showers and
thunderstorms late Wednesday afternoon into the evening.

For Thursday, mostly dry weather expected (5 to 20% shower/storm
chances in the afternoon) with daytime highs in the low to mid
70s. Gusty west to northwest winds expected (30-35 mph gusts) and
minimum RH of 35 to 55% again. Mixing heights over 5000 ft
expected. Conditions similar to Thursday will continue into the
weekend, but with slower winds Saturday and Sunday.
