.DISCUSSION...

Rain continues across southern Wisconsin this morning and should
linger into the afternoon hours as a low pressure system passes
to the south of the state. Warm air advection is winning out this
morning which is closing the window and lowering the chances on
any wintry mix of rain/snow developing in southern Wisconsin. The
good dewpoints, WAA and active rainfall will keep minimum RH values
elevated throughout the day in the mid 60s to 80 plus percent
range. Breezy east winds will develop this afternoon with gusts
around 20 to 25 MPH being possible. This east winds will turn to
northeasterly and remain breezy this evening. By tonight high
pressure will build in from the north bringing dry weather and
decreasing winds. Light and variable winds are expected overnight
into Wednesday morning, with winds remaining light and southerly
(southeast in the morning turning to southwest by Wednesday night)
into Thursday morning. Minimum RH values are expected to remain
elevated through Wednesday with values in the 60s to 70s.
