.DISCUSSION...
Mixing heights top out near 3000 ft in far southern Wisconsin
today, and around 2500 ft elsewhere. Easterly winds keep Lake
Michigan Counties cooler and mixing heights lower. RH values
expected to remain in the 50s to 60s. Isolated showers and storms
are possible along and south of the I-90 corridor into this
evening before ending.
Saturday, expect mixing heights between 3500 and 4000 ft away from
Lake Michigan Counties, with easterly winds continuing. RH values
falling to near 50 percent away from the Lake.
Precipitation chances increasing Sunday, with 20 to 50 percent
chance of rainfall from Sheboygan to Janesville westward. Showers
and storms will largely depend on upstream storms from the
previous night, so confidence in timing and placement remains
high. Outside of precipitation, expect southeasterly winds and RH
values in the 50 to 60 percent range.
