.DISCUSSION...

High pressure continues to push to the southeast today bringing a
return of southerly winds to southern WI. Winds gradually pick up
through the morning with sustained winds between 5-7 mph and gusts
between 7-11 mph after 11AM CST. Mixing heights rise above 1 kft
between 11AM-3PM CST, but remain below 1.5kft today. Thus smoke
dispersion conditions only top off in the fair category this
afternoon. Min RHs will fall into the 50 percent range during a
similar timeframe, but cannot rule out falling a bit lower into
the upper 40 percent range this afternoon, especially if temps
over perform compared to the ongoing forecast.
