Quiet weather expected for the rest of today through early this
evening. Daytime high of 78 degrees with light southwest winds.
Chances for widely scattered showers and thunderstorms (25%)
arrive as a cold front crosses overnight. Any showers / storms
should be brief (if applicable) given the progressive nature of
the front. Winds veer west-northwest behind the front into
Saturday morning.

For the rest of this afternoon, expecting average mixing heights
around 3,500 ft. A subsidence inversion beginning around 4,500 ft
above ground may limit smoke dispersal.
