.DISCUSSION...

Gusty west-northwest winds continue through the afternoon, with
expected gusts in the 25 to 30 mph range. Gusts up to 35 mph
cannot be ruled out, but gusts higher than that have not been
realized and confidence remains low.

Substantial mixing has developed this afternoon already, with RH
values falling to 22 percent within the last hour. Pockets of RH
values below 20 percent are now likely, especially with highs
rising to 60 degrees this afternoon.
