...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Lake Michigan nearshore and open waters to mid lake from Sheboygan WI
to Wind Point WI...

At 1059 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Bayside to near South
Milwaukee, moving north at 20 knots. Additional storms were also
occurring over the open waters east of Milwaukee and Port
Washington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
