.SYNOPSIS...The Atlantic ridge axis shifts south of the local
Atlantic waters today and is forecast to remain south through
this week, with generally favorable boating conditions persisting
locally. Shower and storm chances increase through this week as
moisture increases, with activity anticipated to move offshore
from the peninsula. Lightning strikes, wind gusts, heavy
downpours, and locally higher seas will be possible near storms.
