...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT TODAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northeastern Martin County in east central Florida...
  Southeastern St. Lucie County in east central Florida...

* WHEN...Until noon EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1056 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory
    area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Stuart, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Port Salerno, Sewall`s Point,
    North River Shores, Witham Field, Ocean Breeze Park, Rio,
    Waveland and Hutchinson Island South.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
