.DISCUSSION...
South to southeast winds of 10 to 15 mph are forecast across east
central Florida today through Wednesday, with wind gusts up to 20
mph possible at times. The higher winds will support very good to
excellent smoke dispersion values through Wednesday. Drier air will
lift northward across the area over the next couple of days, leading
to below normal rain and storm chances over the next few days.
Despite the drier air, there are no minimum RH concerns anticipated.
The lack of rainfall and moisture combined with a return of high
pressure overhead will lead to increasing temperatures across east
central Florida, with highs reaching the mid 90s and peak heat
indices exceeding 100F areawide.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
