.DISCUSSION...
Dry air settles across the Florida peninsula today, lingering
through the weekend, as broad high pressure develops. This will
result in little to no rain and storms forecast through the weekend.
Moisture will begin to recover early next week, with isolated
showers possible across the southern Treasure Coast on Monday.
Minimum RH values are anticipated to fall into the 35-40% range near
and north of the I-4 corridor, remaining above 40% southward today,
and falling to 30-40% along the I-4 corridor, and above 40 percent
southward on Sunday. Breezy northerly winds persist today, with wind
speeds of 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph possible, highest
along the coast. Winds then diminish to around 10 mph, becoming
variable Sunday and Monday. Afternoon smoke dispersion values are
forecast to be fair to generally good today, becoming fair on Sunday
as transport winds diminish, and fair to generally good on Monday.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
