.DISCUSSION...
Light west winds prior to sunrise gradually turn north through late
morning, becoming east-northeast behind the sea breeze. The best
chances for showers and storms today are favored west of I-95. Smoke
dispersion remains poor to fair, and there are no critical RH
concerns.
The weather pattern begins to transition Tuesday as high pressure
expands over the eastern U.S. Smoke dispersion improves on Tuesday,
and especially on Wednesday, as east-northeast winds increase each
day. A drier airmass builds across the northern half of the state
mid week, but there are no critical RH concerns. Moderate to high
rain chances are forecast areawide on Tuesday. The greatest coverage
on Wednesday should primarily be focused along the coast and over
inland areas south of the Orlando metro.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
