.DISCUSSION...
Ample moisture lingers across ECFL to support
scattered to numerous diurnal shower/lightning storm chances through
mid-week. Some drier air does filter southward into late week,
though highest rain chances will continue south of Orlando.
Persistent onshore flow and low-level convergence will allow for
nocturnal convection along the coast, especially Cape southward.
North to Northeast winds today will increase to 10-15 mph across the
interior and 15-20 mph and gusty at times along the coast,
especially Melbourne northward. Winds decrease gradually mid to late
week. Fair to Generally Good smoke dispersion is forecast each
afternoon through Thursday, with the higher dispersion values
focused along and north of I-4.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
