.DISCUSSION...
Surface high pressure slides southward on Monday, leading to a
period of light westerly winds. A delayed east coast sea breeze
should develop each afternoon, shifting winds south to southeast
late in the day. Increasing moisture will favor isolated to
scattered showers and storms near and north of the Orlando Metro on
Monday. Moisture continues to spread southward on Tuesday allowing a
seasonal pattern of scattered afternoon storms to return more
areawide. There are no critical RH concerns, and Generally Good
smoke dispersion is forecast early this week. A period of above
normal temperatures continues with peak heat index values increasing
between 106-110F each day.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
