.DISCUSSION...
Surface high pressure over central Florida will promote light and
variable winds early each day, shifting south to southeast in the
afternoon behind the sea breeze. Below seasonal rain chances are
forecast through the weekend with the best chances in vicinity of
Lake Okeechobee (~30-50%) on Saturday. There are no critical RH
concerns. Poor to Fair smoke dispersion on Saturday becomes Fair to
Generally Good on Sunday. High temperatures are forecast in the mid
to upper 90s across much of east central Florida with peak afternoon
heat index values between 106-110F.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
