.DISCUSSION...
An area of low pressure located just off the east central Florida
coast is forecast to move north-northeast across the Atlantic
waters, pushing a front south of the area today. Drier air moving
from the north towards east central Florida will help to limit rain
and storm chances today, but still cannot rule out some isolated to
scattered activity locally (30-40%). By Sunday, rain chances fall
below 20% as the dry airmass settles across the area. Winds are
forecast to be breezy and gusty through the weekend, with north to
northwest winds reaching 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph, though
conditions may be a bit breezier along the Volusia coast. No minimum
RH concerns forecast through the weekend, with fair to good smoke
dispersion values forecast across the area.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
