Below normal rain chances are forecast through the forecast period.
Isolated to scattered showers (30-50% chance) and lightning storms
are forecast to develop in the afternoon and evening today as
collisions occur between light west-northwest flow, the east coast
sea breeze, and outflow from previous storms. Rain chances diminish
by around 8PM. Light west-northwest winds will back onshore into the
afternoon and evening as the east coast sea breeze pushes inland,
mainly along and south of I-4. Surface flow will turn west-southwest
on Friday and back onshore into the afternoon and evening with the
east coast sea breeze at 5-10mph. Expect isolated to scattered
showers (20-40% chance) and lightning storms to develop in the
afternoon and evening as collisions occur between sea breezes and
outflow from previous showers/lightning storms before rain chances
diminish by around 8PM.
A hot and muggy forecast is expected with afternoon highs in the mid
90s and heat index values up to 108-112 degrees today through
Saturday. Dispersion values will be Poor to Generally Good today and
tomorrow. No critical RH values are expected. There is a Limited
Fire potential today through at least Saturday.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
