.Discussion...Low level onshore flow will bring scattered showers
and isolated storms onshore from the Atlc from the Cape southward
this morning and inland this afternoon, mainly south of Orlando.
On Tue, drier air will overspread more of the area from the
north and produced limited shower chances areawide. Light winds
in the mornings will increase to around 10-15 mph with some higher
gusts this afternoon and slightly higher on Tuesday. Slightly
above normal temperatures are forecast with lower 90s interior
and upper 80s coast. Generally Good to Very Good dispersion is
forecast both afternoons.
Moisture is forecast to be drawn northward Wed ahead of a possible
tropical system lifting north from the NW Caribbean. At a minimum,
this should bring a return to wet conditions especially Wed night
and Thursday with potential for heavy rainfall. Deep moisture
could linger across the Florida peninsula through late week
keeping rain chances above normal.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, there may be some patchy fog north/west of the I-4 corridor
early this morning.Localized visibility reductions due to smoke
from new or existing fires will be possible even if fog is not
forecast.
