.DISCUSSION...
Scattered to numerous generally east moving showers (and lightning
storms are forecast through this evening before rain chances
gradually diminish after 4PM. Scattered to numerous generally east
moving showers and lightning storms are forecast to develop on
Friday into the late morning and the afternoon hours before rain
chances diminish into the evening hours. Rain chances remain high
through the weekend with substantial moisture in place. The
potential exists for isolated to scattered strong storms each day.
WSW winds at 10-15mph with gusts to 20-25mph are forecast through
this evening before weakening into the late evening hours. Wind
speeds are expected to increase from the WSW at 10-15mph with gusts
to 20-25mph into Friday afternoon. Winds become generally SSW on
Saturday.
Afternoon highs in the upper 80s to low 90s near below to near
normal are expected each day. No critical RH values are expected.
Dispersion values are expected to be Poor to Very Good on Friday and
Poor to Fair on Saturday.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
