.DISCUSSION...
High pressure at the surface and aloft is forecast to remain in
place across east central Florida through at least mid week, helping
to limit rain and storm chances over the next few days. Isolated
activity still cannot be fully ruled out, particularly across the
interior along the sea breeze collision each afternoon into the
evening hours. Any activity that develops is anticipated to diminish
overnight.
There are no critical fire weather concerns over the next few days.
Minimum RH values are forecast to remain above thresholds and
southerly winds at 5 to 10 mph become southeasterly during the
afternoon as the east coast sea breeze moves inland. Temperatures
climb into the low to mid 90s each afternoon. Afternoon smoke
dispersion values are forecast to be good to very good.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
