.DISCUSSION...
Southwesterly winds through late week 10-15 mph will be breezy at
times, with gusts to around 20 mph. A wet pattern begins today and
will continue through this weekend, with a front stalled across
north Florida. High coverage of showers and storms is forecast, with
daytime chances up to 60-80%. Multiple rounds of convection are
expected, even into the overnight hours. A few stronger storms will
be possible, mainly Friday, with wind gusts near 50 mph and
lightning strikes. Locally heavy rainfall will be a threat into the
weekend, with storms capable of a quick 1-3". Multiple rounds of
rainfall over the next few days may increase minor flooding
concerns. Min RH will remain well above critical values. Fair to
good dispersion today improves to generally good Friday.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
