.DISCUSSION...
Persistent southeast flow will continue across east central Florida
through this weekend, keeping a moist air mass in place locally.
Scattered showers and storms will be possible, expanding from the
coast in the early morning towards the interior through the
afternoon. Isolated to scattered storms will also be possible, with
occasional lightning strikes, wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and quick
rainfall accumulations of 1-3" possible. The moist air mass will
keep minimum RH values well above critical thresholds, and wind
speeds are forecast to remain generally below 15 mph. Afternoon
smoke dispersion values are forecast to be fair this weekend.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
