Fire Weather Planning Forecast for East Central Florida
National Weather Service Melbourne FL
300 PM EDT Sat Sep 12 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Plenty of moisture will support near to above average rain chances
through at least Monday or Tuesday next week. There are no Min RH
concerns. Winds turn onshore each afternoon as the sea breeze pushes
inland but may become gusty and erratic near lightning storms. Poor
to fair dispersion through Monday becomes generally good to very
good by Tuesday-Wednesday as east-northeast winds increase both
days. Seasonable temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s will
combine with high humidity to produce peak heat index values between
100-106 degrees through Tuesday.

Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
