.DISCUSSION...
Easterly flow will continue today, gradually veering east-southeast
on Thursday and eventually out of the south from Friday into the
weekend. Speeds increase during the daytime, up to 10-15 mph with
higher gusts, especially at the coast when the east coast sea breeze
first develops. Rain and storm chances increase from Thursday onward
as moisture increases and afternoon sea breeze collisions are more
prominent over the central and east-central portion of the
peninsula. No min RH concerns through the weekend, but values will
fall to 40-45 percent along and north of I-4 today. Afternoon
temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 80s to low 90s each day
with peak heat indices as high as 103 degrees. Smoke dispersion
values will be generally good today and Thursday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
