.DISCUSSION...
The Atlantic ridge axis will remain south of the area and continue a
light southwest flow, turning onshore along the coast behind the sea
breeze during the mid to late afternoon. Hot and humid conditions
are forecast the next several days with peak afternoon heat indices
of 103-107 before scattered to numerous afternoon and early evening
lightning storms. Afternoon dispersion values will range from Fair
across the southern counties to Very Good in the northern counties
on Sunday, generally Good most areas Monday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
