.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather is forecast through Saturday as high pressure (~1020-
1025mb) builds over the southeastern US before weakening and moving
offshore Sunday into Monday. Isolated onshore moving showers (20-
30%) and lightning storms are forecast over the Treasure Coast,
Okeechobee county, and southern Osceola counties on Sunday before
rain shower and lightning storm chances increase into the workweek.
Northeast winds at 10-15mph with gusts to 20-25mph are forecast to
weaken slightly into the weekend with wind gusts to 20mph from the
east. Expect afternoon highs in the mid 80s to around 90 degrees
with heat index values a few degrees warmer.
Minimum RH values are forecast to reduce to the low to mid 40s
across the western interior of east central Florida on Saturday and
the mid 30s to low 40s across Lake county, as well as portions of
Seminole, Orange, and Osceola counties. There is a Limited fire
weather risk north of the Treasure Coast, as well as Okeechobee
counties on Saturday and all of east central Florida on Sunday and
Monday. Dispersion values will be Very Good to Excellent today, Very
Good on Friday, and Generally Good to Very Good on Saturday.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
