.DISCUSSION...
A round of late night showers and storms passed the burn site overnight,
wetting soils and fuels. An unsettled pattern will keep high rain chances
across the area today. A low 10-20 percent chance of isolated showers
will be possible at the scheduled burn time, with coverage of storms becoming
scattered to numerous by the afternoon. Light winds generally out of
the north to northwest will become variable at times as an area of low
pressure approaches the region. Deep moisture in place will keep minRH
values around 65 percent, and there are no minRH concerns today. High
temperatures reach the low 90s, and added humidity will produce peak heat
index values between 102-107 degrees. Afternoon smoke dispersion becomes
fair to generally good.
