.DISCUSSION...
Northwest winds 10 mph or less through the day will gradually
decrease and veer north-northeasterly by sunset. Rain chances are
elevated today (around 60%), focused primarily after 4-6 PM. A
lightning storm and briefly heavy rainfall cannot be ruled out at
the burn location. As for fog potential overnight, modeled
ensemble (HREF) probabilities are less than 5% for visibility
under one mile across western Martin County. However, with light
winds in place, settling smoke is a possibility, which could lead
to localized visibility reductions. In addition, if any heavy
rainfall occurs around the burn site, the potential for locally
patchy ground fog would increase.
