...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM EDT
THIS EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...

Westerly winds between 5 to 10 mph are forecast along with no
minimum RH concerns. Smoke dispersion values will be fair to
generally good. The wind direction is anticipated to become more
variable as the east coast sea breeze attempts to push inland.
Shower and storm chances increase after 3 PM near the burn site,
and any storms that do develop will be capable of producing
lightning strikes, wind gusts up to 55 mph, and heavy downpours
that could lead to minor, localized flooding. Activity is forecast
to push offshore late this evening into the overnight hours.
Similar conditions are forecast on Wednesday with smoke dispersion
values becoming fair.
