...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM EDT
THIS EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid through the end of the work week, with another Heat
Advisory in effect today due to heat indices 108 to 112 degrees.
Additional Heat Advisories may be needed tomorrow. Scattered to
numerous shower and storms are forecast. Convection is initially
forecast to develop along the sea breeze in the early afternoons,
then drift inland for the evening. However, storms may drift back
towards the coast Friday evening. Storm motions will become
increasingly erratic through the afternoons, propagating along
outflow boundaries due to weak flow. Storms could be strong, with
wind gusts near 50-55 mph, lightning strikes, and small hail. A few
locally higher wind gusts cannot be ruled out. Light southwesterly
winds prevail, backing south to southeast behind the sea breeze.
Light flow will lead to poor to fair dispersion today and Friday.
Improvement is forecast for the weekend. No min RH concerns.
