.DISCUSSION...
Westerly winds are forecast near the site this morning, becoming
more onshore as the east coast sea breeze develops and moves
inland after 12 PM. Wind speeds are anticipated to remain between
5 to 10 mph. Fair smoke dispersion values in the morning will
decrease this afternoon as the sea breeze moves inland. Scattered
showers and storms will be possible later this afternoon as
activity across the peninsula pushes offshore. Lightning strikes,
wind gusts to 45 mph, and heavy downpours will be possible with
storm activity. Rain chances decrease through the overnight hours.
A similar pattern is forecast on Monday, with offshore winds
becoming more onshore in the afternoon and scattered showers and
storms possible. Fair smoke dispersion values continue on Monday.
