.DISCUSSION...
Hazardous heat continues today, with a Heat Advisory in effect from
Noon to 7 PM for peak heat index values of 108-112 degrees this
afternoon. Winds will be relatively light out of the southwest up
to 5 to 7 mph today. Scattered showers and storms will develop in
the vicinity of the burn site (chance of rain around 50 percent)
this afternoon into early evening. Greatest chance for rain at the
burn site will be from 5-8 PM. Some stronger storms will be
possible, producing strong and erratic wind gusts, frequent
lightning and locally heavy rainfall. No minimum RH concerns, with
generally good dispersion values forecast.
